Our Call as an Apostolic Hub

As soon as we had understood the scope of the intercessory, prophetic and apostolic dimensions of our ministry, a problem surfaced.

Our particular call did not fit into the prevalent structure of the "traditional church".  We knew, however, that we had to strongly consider Jesus' own words:  Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined.  But, they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved (NKJ - Matthew 9:17).

This passage could signify different things to different people, depending upon their personal journeys, their revelation, etc.

However, for us, this "New Wineskin" Jesus is talking about is the Apostolic Vision of the Kingdom of God

An Apostolic Vision is the driving force of the Apostolic Center.

So then, what is an Apostolic Center?

An Apostolic Center is first of all a local assembly.

It's a local assembly led by an Apostolic Team; consisting of one or more apostles, who are encircled by those who are chosen by the Lord and who are functioning in their individual Gifting or Ministry.  An Apostolic Center is called to Welcome, Care, Train, Equip, and Send Out.  The Apostolic Center is connected to various Kingdom Works (i.e. Home cell groups, prayer groups, ministries, assemblies, etc.) with which it functions or networks to manifest the Kingdom of God on earth.  The passion of an Apostolic Center is to see people come together to grow, get equipped, and go manifest the Kingdom of God in their daily lives.

An Apostolic Center is built upon the Foundation of Apostles and Prophets (Ephesians 2:20-22).

It is unquestionably the handiwork of the Lord Jesus Christ, who remains the Cornerstone.  The Apostolic Center believes in being a clear manifestation or demonstration of the Kingdom of God on earth. Although, for that to occur effectively, the Center must cultivate a vision capable of manifesting the Power of God within the 7 Mountains of human society:  Religion; Family; State or Government; Education or Educational System; Arts and Entertainment; Media; and Business.

Beyond simply believing in or preaching on the spiritual gifts, talents, and ministries of Holy Spirit, an Apostolic Center exemplifies a House of God, where various gifts and diverse ministries can successfully work together within the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:1-31; Ephesians 4:4-12).

An Apostolic Center is not simply a gathered group of people, nor is it a wistful look back at the first century church described in the Book of Acts.

Rather, it is a cutting edge, ground-breaking vision bringing us back to our apostolic roots (Acts), and then emerge in an innovative way to accomplish the work that the first apostles left unfinished (and to do the greater works that Jesus promised us that we would do).
